A young man was killed after the Nepalese Police allegedly fired at three Indians who had gone across the border from Pilibhit district to attend a fair in Nepal's Kanchanpur.
Nepalese officials had alleged that the four entered Nepal for the smuggling of narcotics. They also claimed to have recovered 'brown sugar', a pistol and a machine used to print fake currency notes from Govinda Singh.
CM Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and directed DGP Sulkhan Singh to immediately follow up on the investigations to nab the culprits.
